Recently my lovely babe invited me to go watch premier screening << The Hunger Games>>. Sadly never heard of it although its novel is HOT and HYPE right now since I had not sibuk2 to look for the latest updates on movies or novels. Until we watched the movie only we know it's the science fiction action drama film based on the novel written by Suzanne Collins. The Twilight novel pun took ages for me to finish reading, so I dare not be so ambitious to take another trilogy novel to read.

SYNOPSIS
Set in the future, 16-year-old Katniss Everdeen is living with her mother and little sister in what's left of North America, in one of 12 districts all being run by the Capitol. Despite mastering the skill of hunting and trapping edible plants, Katniss still struggles to keep her family from going hungry.
Each year, the names of all residents between the ages of 12 and 18 are entered into a lottery and two names, one girl and one boy, are chosen at random from each district to compete in the televised Hunger Games. The 24 children must try to kill each other off and the last one standing is rewarded by the Capitol with a feast of food.
When her little sister's name is selected, Katniss steps up to take her place in the deadly competition.

This movie is similar to a "Survivor" reality game show but in a darker side as these young teenagers are required to kill one another in order to stay alive and win. It's absolutely not suitable for kids cos it's too violent for them. Kids killing other kids in bloodsport TV is heavy.
The leading actress, Jennifer Lawrence is not only pretty but she portrays a strong young girl with strong surviving skills though. She's good! :)
Apart from being a violent movie, there are still touching situations of love and sacrifices for the loved ones especially family particularly sisters.
I give the Hunger Games 7 stars out of 10. :)
