Belated Birthday Mini Party at Denai Alam Recreation & Riding Club (DARC)

Disebabkan my nephew hospitalised last couple of weeks, then followed by us went to PD last week, the mini family gathering for our birthday bash (me and Mama) was postponed til today.  It was like a mini family day. We had so much fun at Denai Alam Recreation & Riding Club (DARC)... It's located at Sec. U16, Denai Alam, Shah Alam.  Jauh dari our house tapi berbaloi-baloi... :D

Yang menarik tentang DARC is the main objective of penubuhan kelab ni, it's some sort like fundraising for Rumah Amal Kasih Bestari, rumah yang menempatkan beratus-ratus anak yatim yang memerlukan bantuan dan kasih sayang.  A part of the fees will be channeled to this home. That' super cool! Mulia betul!

They have many activities designed for family.  The main activity here is horse-riding.  Lama gila tak naik kuda, the last time I tunggang kuda was like 15 years ago... That's how long... So, agak janggal bila diberi peluang duduk dekat2 sangat dengan horses kat situ... Nak feed and pegang them pun, I freak out! 

We started with a simple nasi padang buffet  for lunch. Then the kids tak sabar2 to head to stable to see the horses up close.

Hahaha... Kelakar la the first horse we saw ni... 

Dia boleh bluekkan kita bila kita tried snapping picture of him...

All horses here memang ada nama. Macam yang ni nama dia "Diva". 

Memang totally diva-ish ok! 

When we tried patting his head, dengan sombong bongkaknya, 

dia tarik kepala dia ke atas. Mentang2 lah dia besar dari kita. :P

 

Terkejut juga bila tengok my Paradise ni ada strong bond dengan kuda2 kat situ.  

I yang dulunya memang selalu bercakap dengan butterfly 

dan tangkap nanges tengok "Lion King" the movie pun penakut nak pegi dekat kuda2 tu. 

Apatah lagi nak pegang kepala dia. Besar sangat, muka diorang pun macam bagitau 

"Don't mess with me aaar, I flying kick nanti baru tau"...

Ni ala2 dah berani feeding horse. Nama yang ni "Messi". Maybe kaki dia kuat macam Messi kot.

 Kesian dia, terlantar sakit agaknya... Tak boleh bangun langsung... :(

Tapi sayang tak dapat ambil gambar sebab dah passed camera to Mr. Hubby, 

dia plak bawak camera ke tempat archery.

My nephew and niece tunggang yang ini.  I had a joyride with "SIMBA", a big old horse.  

Yang bawak I joyride ni was a small boy, malu siot... 

Dia relax jer handled SIMBA while I kecut perut... Hahaha...

Short Break at the Beach

Last week I was mad busy at work. OK I'm exaggerating... But yup, it was QUITE hectic... So rasa macam I totally need a weekend getaway. Just the two of us... me and my Paradise... So since we could only go for 2D1N because of our work commitment, carilah tempat yang paling dekat and affordable time2 tengah bulan ni... So we went to Avillion Admiral Cove Port Dickson and just came back.

A simple room at level 5.  It was full house, so we didn't get the king size bed for the honeymooners... Honeymoon sangat la kaan... So what we did was just rapatkan both twin bed. :)  Although the room's simple but it was spacious.  Semua basic human needs ada tersedia in this room (my definition of basic needs here are sejadah, safety box, iron, iron board, kettle, and hair dryer).

The interior design cantik jugaklah... Tapi we parked at basement, takde lift la pulak dari basement parking nak naik ke lobby.  So kene naik tangga. Nasib baik this time around travel agak light la kan... (Travel light pun, ade 3 bags Mr. Hubby kena bawak naik tangga, huh?) :P

The resort pun memang cantik... View sekeliling pun memang amazing... Sempat jugak my Paradise terjun ke swimming pool tu tapi dia kata air sejuk sangat... Also ramai sangat orang mandi dalam pool tu.  Masa tu lah I took the chance to have a good ME relaxing time by the pool.

Ni antara view yang I like so much... Cute sangat yachts kat sini... The beach view was just so tantalizing! Mulalah banyak berangan... :)

Ni lah the highlight of the weekend getaway... After so long tak "main basikal", kitorang pun rent bicycles and we had such joy rides!!! Walaupun sponge tempat duduk dia dah haus... tapi seronok sangat rasa macam balik ke zaman kanak2 dulu... Teringat memori basikal yellow BMX yang jadi my best friend zaman kanak2 dulu...

Ni kan ol skool way to express your thots when you're at the beach.  Yeah, zaman dulu2 couple suka tulis kat beach sand like "ALI LOVE AMINAH"... (Notice the grammatical error? tapi dulukan memang couple suka tulis macam tu kot) hahahaha... So, this came to my mind masa kitorg jalan2 dekat beach... 

Yang ni pulak came to his mind afterwards.  Hahaha... Paradise mesti dilengkapi oleh rajanya... Raja? just because of my first name kot! Hahaha... Lawaks...

Mase jalan2 tepi pantai tu, angin tiup sepoi2 bahasa, shawl mulalah nak terbang ikut sea breeze, then mulalah I berangan macam Kuch Kuch Hota Hai scene yang mana saree Anjeli terbang2 kan... Pastu my Paradise plak berangan, dia cakap kalau dia jogging kat persisiran pantai ni, mesti macam dalam reality TV show "Bachelor" tu, yang masa introduction scene tu, bila mamat tu lari2 anak tepi pantai menunjukkan 6 pack nye... Diapun nak berangan jugak... Tehehee... TAK BOLEH BLAH...

We had so much fun in the sun by the beach!!!

Amoi Muslimah?

Previous entree I wrote about how I was kinda excited nak pakai cheongsam I bought for the annual Chinese New Year Hi Tea here.  Mula2 rase macam excited sgt nampak cheongsam tu tersangkut kat mall.  Modern design plak tu... Cheongsam tu mcm mini dress. But wait, macam mana plak me yang dah 'covered' ni nak pakai 'mini' dress... Tapi, being someone yg dah berhijab, takkan lah tak boleh nak merasa pakai modern cheongsam kan... Masa ni la ade chance to be creative... At first rase macam what if I'll end up looking like a 'clown muslimah'... Tapi bila dah pakai pagi tu... Rasenye OK kot, ala2 amoi mualaf gitu... Tehehehe...

one red rose

Finally yesterday the red rose arrived right at my office door...

He called me, he just reached my office to pick me up.  He asked me to go out quick, he needed to borrow my tag cos he wanted to go to the toilet... And when I went to him, there he was standing with a red rose placed very close to his heart, smiling... Told me that it's especially for me....  Some might think it's cheesy but to me... he's so Awwwhhh sweet...  Hopefully till the end of time...

Thank you for the air I breathe... Alhamdulillah

I honestly didn't look forward to celebrate my birthday this year.  Rasa biasa2 je... Takut tua kot.  Hehehe... Tapi deep down nervous la jugak... Ada lagi ke org nak ingat? Maklumlaah dah masuk waktu senja... Alhamdulillah my family and friends started to send birthday wishes seawal 1 pagi . Awal kot... tak tido ke diorang ni? :)  Tu lah, technology canggih skarang ni, macam2 ade, FB, BBM, SMS... Sib baiklah tak sign up twitter plak...

Pagi tu, macam biasa mulakan routine dgn light exercise, then I saw such a lovely card placed nicely on my dressing table. From my special someone la... Sweet... Then baru perasan since I've been busy at work lately, terlupa nak belikan mama birthday card and pressie. Yeah, what can I say, I guess I was a gift from Allah to Mama on her 27's birthday. *grin...  We've been sharing birthday every year ever since day 1 I keluar dari her tummy.  So, I just managed to only wish her that morning. 

Sampai2 ofis je, Nana and Danii siap nyanyi "Allah Selamatkan Kamu"... Ape lagi saya aminkan aje... Ameen...  Few minutes after that, some of my colleagues yang datang awal nyanyi beramai2 pulak "Happy Birthday to you..."  Awwhhh touching2... Rasa nak pegi hug semua org... Tapi maluuuu...

Birthday this year, memang sempoi... Rasanya tak payah membazir la... Slalu my paradise send bouquet of flowers, take me out for dinner.  Tapi disebabkan I had to go to PWTC as I was involved in an exhibition, balik pun pretty late... So, this year tak ade semua tu, rasanya cukuplah sekadar bersyukur, at least ade lagi yang masih ingat kan... Cukup2 lah sambut birthday bagai nak rak dulu2 tu... Skarang masanya kena belajar bersyukur.  Semua tu DUNYA...  (but can't help it agak merajuk sket jugak la sbb tak dapat flowers cos I'm so cwazee about flowers.. Lagi pulak 1st time tak dapat special delivery tu kot sepanjang kawin dgn dia, hehehe...). Takde cake takpe, sebab tak minat sangat pun makan cake... Tapi takde flowers? Hurm... Memang minah bunga kan, nak buat macam mana... :P

Takpelah... My paradise selalu bagi roses... Deep down, teringin jugak white lilies and pink roses.  Takpe, nanti beli sendiri laa... Tak salah kan? Berangan dulu... Hehehe...

New Glam Fossil Watch

I received a watch as a new year gift last year on 1.1.2011 from my sweet other half.  Fossil Stella Mini Pearlized Pink.  But I left it in the public toilet in Endah Parade last weekend, next thing I knew it wasn't there anymore... Rasa terkilan sangat... That watch was one of the most valuable things I had... Skarang tengok gambar je la...  Nak buat macam mana, careless sangat! I promised to myself never ever left my watch anywhere except in my bag.

He would have gotten so mad of me being so careless but Alhamdulillah instead, terubat sikit rasa sedih bila adanya suami yang understanding.  Again, this year I received another special pressie from my Paradise for my birthday although it's another 5 days to go!!! Woohoo!!! ~Happy smile... Happy face!!!  I'm so blessed to have him with me always..  Nak2 pulak hari yang dapat jam tu pulak hari baik, Maulidur Rasul... Syukur Alhamdulillah...

The first time ever I'm going to wear an over-sized watch. And it comes with pretty violet stones.  Here's my new Stella Baguette Stainless Steel Watch...

Anugerah Juara Lagu 26

Last weekend, dapat pegi tgk Anugerah Juara Lagu ke-26.  Dulu selalu dapat VIP passes from my friend's uncle, from my own uncle... Haritu dapat jugaklah 2 passes tapi kat Arena 2.  The moment dapat tickets tu, rase macam, alaa tak dapatlah duduk kat depan sekali, alaaa tak dapatlah join post party... Hahaha... ngade... jgn nk over... agak2 lah dah remaja tua kan... Tapi bila dah sampai Stadium Putra Jalil, tempat tu OK ape... duduk sebelah group of media lagi. Dapat tgk overall stage view... Coolness!

Tapi yg terkilan sgt, singgah Endah Parade utk Solat Maghrib.  Bila nak ambik wudhu', took off my beloved pretty pink Fossil watch. Letak tepi sink... Selalunya ambik balik.  Dah nak jadi hal, tertinggal jam tu kat tepi sink kat public toilet opposite Surau.  Sobs.... sobs... I went  back to the toilet the moment I realised I left it behind. Unfortunately it was already gone! Org dah kebas la tu... :'(  .... Buat spoil mood je! Nasib baik my Paradise cakap "Ade rezeki yg lebih baik nak dtg tu, mana tau dapat jam yg lagi cantek, lagi mahal..." Ameen... Tak yah la mahal sgt pun, janji jam tu tahan lasak mcm my Pink Fossil tu... Sebab saya ni clumsy sket... sebenarnya clumsy byk... ;P.  Langgar sana, accident sini...

Couldn't get over it... Muka mencuka sampai masuk stadium, duduk until the opening performance started.  Awie kuar je, terus head banging... Betul, tak tipu, muslimah ni agak sporting jugak, still head banging... Really enjoyed his awesome performance!!!

To me, Alyah mmg layak sangat la menang best performance.  One word to describe her: Stunning!!! Baju yang sangat cantik, props yang sangat creative. And post yg sgt elegant!  Mcm berada dalam mimpi... Terus tenggelam dalam lyrics yg sgt puitis and deep. Tapi sayang, camera couldn't capture the whole thing properly.  I think those who watched at TV missed so much things!  Nak2 pulak the moment my Remy (cheh my Remy terus, hubby kat sebelah pun ade hati nk gediks, hahaha), OK2 Remy Ishak slowly keluar dari backstage... Saya pulak yg berdebar... bermulalah 'kisah hati' yg perasan... Hahaaha... But it was beautiful! So beautiful until bergenang airmata... Sedih giler dengar lagu tu...  Memang penyampaian Alyah, kesedihan lagu tu sampai ke semua penonton dalam stadium... Sampai... Congrats Alyah!!! Wonderful job!
