Its okay to lose,. at least Harimau Malaya have played with dignity!

I do really think that these rows of bbm group need to be documented.  Here's how the interesting conversation went:

Aye: Malaysia deserved to be defeated by those sleazy lion.  They don't have the guts to win.

Ef: Malaysia plays okay but Singapore terrer sangat berlakon...

Aye: You didn't see how weak our defense was? If not b'coz of goalie, kita dah kalah 2-3 bijik tau! Goalie pun byk scandal.

(My thots were: Dhuh... ape kene mengena scandal dgn bola ni? Nway, I juz heard only one scandal... byk ke tu?)

Aye: I dah ada bau yg HM kalah he he! Defend tak belajar dari kesalahan di S'pore.  Apeq dah bertunang tapi ada scandal dgn awek sexy.

(My thots were: so evil! Sekalipun Apek tu ade scandal, but he was a star last nite ok.  He did very well!)

Me: Tough game!!! S'porean players are phoneys! Saje lambat2kan masa x nk bg M'sia score.

Kay: Aye, kita x kalah tonite, Seri! :D

Aye: Kita kalah sebenarnya.  Footballers know that.  In reality, we are no match against S'pore & Indonesia.  Our tactic and technique can't match theirs.

(My thots were: eiiisshh geram pulak dgr negative vibes ni!!!)

Kay: Aye, we all know Aye! But don't keep on beating a dead dog.  Your point noted.  Jaga hati la sikit.  And jaga maruah.  Give face to diehard fans & patriots! The tiger may rise again... Positive thinking!

(My thots were: I love the way Kay thinks!)

Aye: I frust sbb pemain tak appreciate the fans yg support ramai ramai ke stadium.  They still play like that.

(My thots were: Hey... dia yg x pegi Stadium, dia plak yg rase frust... hurmm....)

Kay: It's a personal choice Aye, we ikhlas went to support and cheer the team.  Kalau menang, fantastic! Tapi, x kan bila kalah kita abandon? As they say, sometimes we win, sometimes we lose and sometimes we lose again.

Aye: Agreed Kay, as much as I want HM to win, same like all of us.

Kay: Nak sambung lg ceramah I ni! Failure is not in failing down.  Failure is when we stay down! Gudnite!

(My thots were: Hahaha... Good one Kay!  But I cannot tahan, kene reply jgk ni...)

Me: Aye, they did their best.  Easier said than done la kan.  Cuba u yg turun padang!

(My thots were: Whoopsie was that too nasty?)

Aye: Mmg la kalau I main, tak sama dgn mereka but they are national player.  Cuba suroh diaorang buat event, diaorang tak boleh lawan kecekapan you, cuba buat akaun, or buat HR or Investment. So, your comparative approach tu salah. You shld compare the way they played with the way other team played tonite. Ada ke nak banding Zakuan main dgn I main, aiyok!!!

(My thots were: suka hati la Labu... Yg penting semangat juang diorang kuat!)

Ef: Watching at stadium mmg different.. Tak kisah menang kalah.. You just feel excited and proud of the team..  Any results, I'm still proud of Harimau Malaya.. And I would cheer for them anytime in the future..

(My thots were: exactly how I feel about them! That's the spirit we need from Malaysians!)

2011 is a Coach Year for me...

I'm staying at home today, Doctor gave me MC. I have been snuggling my bantal busssuk with blanket wrapped around me since morning.  Yeah of course I felt bored then got up and start writing this blog.  Something popped  into my head.  My colleague said to me "Well, 2011 is your Coach Bag year, babe".  Let's talk about bag.  My preference has always been tote, a large hand bag which I can put all little2 things of mine.  The must-have-things in my tote bag ~ my personal handphone, office blackberry, iPod, purse, lip balm and compact powder.  The bigger my tote bag is, the more and more things i will sumbat in it... hehehe...

Here's the story.  I first gotta know about Coach bag from my sister.  She's the most well-paid banker, big boss, respectful and responsible person in my family. hehehehe...  Mase tu, I just started work, my salary was RM1k over je.  She took me to KLCC and dropped by Coach boutique.  I felt awkward cos I know I couldn't afford to buy any of the bags even tiny weeny bag in that boutique. So there I was, sitting quietly on the sofa waiting for my sister to pick one.  That was years ago.

Amazingly this year... Early of this year, my sister hand me down her Coach Bag.  It wasn't a tote bag, it was a shoulder bag. Still in a good condition. But it's pretty small for me to sumbat my things.  I can only wear it to nearby places.  So that was my very first Coach Bag.

Then come the 2nd Coach bag.  The 2nd one was a silver/gray sling bag.  It's still small but it's practical for going to concert, football match or any casual outing. I am in the event organising team.  So this sling bag is just right for me when I have to do my work like going for venue recce, venue set up and that kind of thing.  My dear love has made the right choice in buying me this sling bag as my birthday pressie.  I love it very much.  But I found it pretty hard to get my stuff in the bag especially my big purse, cos they always got stuck in the small space.

The 3rd and 4th bags are very dear to me.  These are the bags yang boleh sumbat many2 things. The 3rd bag is finally a tote bag, the one that i've been dreaming to have. It's gold POPPY METALLIC SIGNATURE GLAM TOTE.  Owh my god, when the sales assistant showed it to me and it's within my budget, i just grabbed it!  Poppy is more funky than other Coach collections.  This tote bag is definitely good for both formal and informal events.  It's funky but it's also elegant.  I'm happy with my Glam Poppy Tote!

I have a feeling that the 4th handbag will end my journey with Coach this year.  Wait a sec, wristlet blum ade lagi kan.... hehehehe... it's ok to dream right!  The last tote bag i got was the most funky and striking, it's shocking pink, my favourite colour.  And i love the zipper, it's so smooth!  This tote bag is my 3rd year anniversary gift from my loving hubby. He took me to the boutique, and surprised me by telling me "I'll buy you anniversary gift here, just choose 1".  It's called Coach Signature Poppy Wordblock.  It looks like a bit playful tapi just right for my image yang tak pernah sedar diri ni dah nak dekat senja... ;P

Best nye!!! Dulu intai2 je Coach, now I'm having 4 Authentic Coach bags! OMG... Alhamdulillah... That's the story about me and Coach. Peeeace!!!

Tummy's unhappy

I am not feeling well.  Lately, I've been quite sick but Alhamdulillah, it's not like I have to be warded or anything like that.  But... I remember growing up , although being the youngest in my family, I didn't get much attention from my mom and siblings when I got sick those days.  My mom was not the one to blame. She had to do what a single mother had to do, which was to provide us enough food to eat and good place to stay.  Dulu, bile sakit, all I need to do was just lying down, until I felt better.  Kalo dah tak tahan sgt, mengadu kat my friends, or else BIBIK.  Tapi bile dh besar tu, mama pun dh mellow down at work, so pretty much dpt jugak lah merasa attention from her.

Mcm ni la rupe kalau sakit perut kann...

But now... sakit sikit je, my dear love dah tanye "Nak jumpe Doctor?" I am thankful that I have such a caring and alert husband. Like last nite at around 2ish in the morning, when my tummy began to feel uneasy, memulas2 sakit!  He immediately went down to boil the water and tried looking for the right medicine for me.  Then he started to rub my tummy with his magic hand and magic potion.  Magic potion? Kalo dia yg letak, minyak mestika pun bley jadi magic potion ok!  I feel so loved. Mulalah sentimental jap... Dah la yesterday was my first day ~ THE TIME OF THE MONTH. Just great kan, my eye infection pun blum fully recovered yet, and when I started to get sore throat, now my tummy's upset plak. My tummy's so sensitive.  Salah makan sket aje, it will be totally upset.  Saba je la...

Since this morning I had no choice but to go work as our office had an official launch event and yes I was part of the organising team. No choice rite? Sakit pun tahan jer la... I've got to tell myself "Juz get up, it's not like your legs sakit but it's your eye, throat and tummy!" So, walaupun hati merangkak nak bangun, tapi tangan, kaki badan semua gerak jugak la bgn akhirnya... Nasib baik ade yang sayang, he helped to send me to the hotel and pick me up at the office. I love him for so many things and this is one of the things that makes me love him even more...

Me being Cinde- POYO - rella...

I wanna write about shoes today.

I have to admit that my feet are a bit unusual than any other people in this whole entire world.  People would think it's abnormal, but I would prefer to train my brain to think that it's UNIQUE. Cos I still can use them to walk right? It's not like I have to be wheelchair bound kann?  Cumanye it's extra-ordinary kecik.... hehehe...

At the age of 12, it was my first time I went shopping with my friends at the most happening shopping mall in town - Ampang Park (masa tu laa).   I bought a pair of SHOES.  Itula first time merasa shopping sendiri without mama.  That was also the first time I realized I had the smallest feet compared to all my friends!

I experienced funny thing like beli kasut BUBBLEGUMMERS yg cute even when I was already in my mid twenties. Hahaha... Selamba pakai kasut BUBLLEGUMMERS tu pegi Phuket with my colleagues at the age of 20 plus.  Hallo... small kids below 12 je yg pakai kasut kiut-miut tu OK. Kira I ni perasan cute la yea...

In the office now, ade a few called me "Cinderella" because of me at the age of 30+ with the weight of 50+ kg wearing size 3.  Yup, literally Malaysian size 3.  Everytime nak beli kasut, I have to ask the sales assistant "Do you have Malaysian Size 3 available here?" If not, tak payah la nk berhangan untuk try2 kasut2 itu ye...

The downside of having small feet is I won't be able to hand-down my shoes to any of my family, friends or anak2 yatim.  Lagi sedey, I had to throw away a lot of my shoes yg still elok.  Takkan nak bagi budak kecik - high heel stilettos? Agak2 la kan...  Karang anak org terjatuh, I plak yg kene bertanggungjawab...

So, I've got to wear almost all of my shoes until they become worn-out and valueless, hancur like dlm picture kt atas ni.  So selamat tinggal my favourite black wedge.  You'll be missed.  Last weekend, mcm dh takde keje lagi, dok mengira how many pair of shoes I have right now.  Time to recall... Erm...

  1. Neva Black wedge shoes (Available at Ampang Park... Tehehehee)
  2. Twins White wedge shoes
  3. Sembonia Gold wedge shoes
  4. crocs Brown Flat shoes
  5. crocs Beige Flat shoes
  6. crocs Fushia Flat shoes
  7. crocs Black Sandal
  8. Neva Brown Sandal
  9. Vinci Black High Heel Stiletto
  10. Pink Evil's White High Heel Stiletto
  11. Pink Evil's Marshmallow High Heel Stiletto (x pernah pakai pun)
  12. Light gold Stiletto (x ingat dari mana)
  13. Custom made Pink Stiletto (pakai once only, mase wedding je)
  14. Nike Futsal shoes
  15. Nike Jogging shoes (Pink weehooo)
  16. Hush Puppies Blue Casual Shoes
Well, that's all I think. Not bad huh? For having a small feet does not stop me from shopping shooeezz... Now my shoes shopping wishlist:
  1.  Another pair of black wedge
  2. Indoor games shoes
There I go, talking about me being the Cinde-POYO-rella.... ; )

Sore Right Eye...

It has been a week now that a window to my soul is irritating, red and swollen... : (

It started last Monday, I noticed my right eyelid was swollen when I did my morning normal routine, which was looking at the mirror the moment I got up from bed. At first it seemed like a drooping one-side eyelid that got me really freaked out! So tried so hard to calm myself down and pretend that there was not gonna be any serious illness would happen.

Then, I had to put on my glasses and put away my coloured lenses.  I so hate it when I have to wear spectacles to work.  I feel like an old granny whenever it sticks on my cheeks and nose!

Anyway, when it got from bad to worse, I finally went to see the doctor.  Ade ke doctor cakap it was "ketumbit".  I was like "I have never had such thing all my life!" But afta applying the cream and took the tablets, my right eyelid stop swelling but it became red and painful.  Went to see the Doctor again, and he explained to me clearly that it wasn't a ketumbit after all, it was called "allergic conjunctivitis", which is penyakit eye allergy.  It might caused by the lenses.  Yeah the nite before I kena, I slept in the car with my lenses on. It does make sense now.  Dr. Prem Kumar at Klinik Mesra Setiawangsa is marvelous!

So lesson learned! Do not sleep with my lenses ever again!

MARIGOLD Yoghurt. Goodness From Inside Out.

Lactose intolerance is the inability to digest lactose. Lactose is a type of sugar found in milk and other dairy products. And guess what, dhuh! I was one of those babies who had this problem back then.  My mama told me so.  No wonder as far as I can remember, I grew up with Ribena and Soya Bean. Huhuhu! Tak cukup zat betul!

Anyway I am not gonna drag things about 'lactose-intolerance' but I wanna talk about something got to do with it.  I've just found another alternative to get more calcium since me and milk, we got issues!

"People who are moderately lactose-intolerant can consume yoghurt without ill effects, because much of the lactose in the milk precursor is converted to lactic acid by the bacterial culture".  Do not fret, no more toilet site-visit afta having yoghurt!

Tadaa... Yoghurt is kinda yummay!

I only learned to eat yoghurt this year.  It tastes quite good. It's like a warm ice cream mix with sour cream.  Nice... I'm so into Peach Yoghurt now. I bought for RM1.55 per bottle at Jusco, it's worth it!

Although I'm not a big fan of fruits but Yoghurt pretty much erm how shall I say, kinda change my mind about fruits. Yeay, bonus strikes! Nutritious + Yummay!  A good option for people like me who does not like to eat Vitamins or food supplements!  Because they  taste so bad!

How a yoghurt can help us? It helps digestion and promote a healthy digestive system and calcium for the development of strong bones and teeth. Owh gimme more!

Groupism in the Workplace

Here's a good article I came across online.  Lately there's an issue of 'Groupism' in my office.  I've been feeling quite left out since this groupism exists.  We're no longer school kids where the popular group gets to do what they want, and the minority leaves behind.  We should just grow up as adults and build good team spirit which has common goal!

Groupism
This is by far the most annoying aspect of a workplace.
"It can absolutely turn you off," says Revathi M, assistant manager -- sales, with an IT security company. "It takes a heavy toll on productivity because, if you don't belong in a certain group, you tend to feel left out. Then, you don't enjoy going to work anymore."
The snide remarks and covert glances that result from groupism are not only thoroughly unprofessional, they can also result in emotional hurt which is often difficult to express. It eventually leads to frustration and may result in people leaving their jobs.
